Limited Edition stretched canvas on frame featuring the George Manus 2020 painting ‘Sight Bombs’. Vivid, fade-resistant print on thick poly-cotton blend canvas.
It was never my intention to paint these “bombs”, while the cross sight was intentional. As the sight is not aiming at any target, and the four “bombs” images are pointing in different directions, I see the sight aiming at earth from above. The rest I leave to the imagination. One by one, “the bombs” disappear as they are released. “No need to waste time with details before the overall picture is clear.” – G.M.
